Thank You for your

By becoming a member of the Oak Ridge Pointing
Dog Club you become part of a club with
approximately 60 members who share a love of
sporting dogs and the outdoors.  During informal
training days you have the opportunity to work your
dog with other member's dogs and get advice
from others if you want it. We also have club
members interested in showing, obedience and
agility training.  We have picnics and other social
events too.  The club sponsors AKC sanctioned
hunt tests in the spring and fall.

April 18 & 19 are the dates for our Spring
Hunt Test.  Bernie Gray is the Hunt Test
Chairmen and Beky Davis is the secretary.
In December Matt Wilson and
his daughter, Hunter, came up
to the grounds. Matt is the
Asphalt Product Manager for
Goff Tractor and Sales and
provided the Case 850 dozer
that cut the road from the street
to the clubhouse and the labor
to complete the project.
While they were at the grounds
they warmed up with some
sporting clays and then were
taken to Bear Creek Shooting
Preserve to hunt pheasant.
Gary Sheets and Bernie Gray
were their hosts for the day and
MH Tucker was their bird dog.
By the looks of it they had a
pretty good day hunting.
Thank you Matt for your
generosity.
