Oak Ridge Pointing Dog ClubMission Statement
The Oak Ridge Pointing Dog Club is an organization for the sportsman who wants to do more than just hunt with
their pointing dog during the hunting season. The club promotes the training and use of pointing dogs in the
sport of upland hunting and AKC sanctioned hunt test.
Membership BenefitsBy becoming a member of the Oak Ridge Pointing Dog Club you become part of a club with approximately 60 members who share a love of sporting dogs and the outdoors. During informal training days you have the opportunity to work your dog with other member's dogs and get advice from others if you want it. We also have club members interested in showing, obedience and agility training. We have picnics and other social events too. The club sponsors AKC sanctioned hunt tests in the spring and fall.
